We are now
living in Tallahassee, Florida, close to where we
began our family journey at Cape San Blas.
The story about how this occurred is nothing short
of miraculous, and Licia is writing about it.
We feel this is the end of our long journey to step
outside of popular culture and decide who we are for
ourselves. It has been a treasured adventure
with so many great lessons and experiences!

After two years of travel, we
wound up being led to the town of Del Norte,
Colorado, population about 1700! Through
mysterious circumstances (yet believable for us), we
were exquisitely guided to this location. It
is literally a one traffic light town!
We were concerned at first that
it would be too small for our ever-curious minds.
But the San Luis Valley (SLV for short) has so many
interesting things going on. And the people
who live here are so colorful and intriguing.

heading west into the San Juan Mountains:
As of this writing (February
2008), we have lived here for two full years.
We bought a house with 40 acres 7 miles outside of
town; we see more stars at night than we thought
possible. Out here, there are more antelope
running across the road than cars! It is very
quiet.

We have experienced the snowy,
cold winters and the gorgeous, green summers.
The kids wanted to enter the schools here, so they
are in their second year with the Del Norte school
system.
We bought a historic 1876
building on the main street and have turned it into
a contemporary art gallery, offices and home
theater/stereo showroom. Life here has been
very good to us!
